Prayer is the spiritual experience of talking with God — sharing our thoughts and feelings, the longings of our heart. It can be quiet and personal or in a small group setting or part of a large worship experience. Prayer is also listening for God’s response. Jesus’ example of prayer shows us to honor the father, to resist the enemy, to submit to the Father and to ask for what we need.
The Prayer Ministry of LifeSource also believes that prayer opens the door to unleash the power of God in our lives and in the church. Through prayer, we can invite God to move in us, in our local church and in the Church throughout the world. The prayer ministry offers a variety of formats for anyone interested in prayer to actively participate in praying for specific requests, the church, or needs of people both locally and globally.
