Through Bible study, mentoring, job coaching, and a job and computer skills training program, these women will grow in their confidence, computer and job skill levels, and most importantly, in their relationship with Christ. When women fully embrace their position as daughters of the King, the impact reaches their families as well as the greater community.
We have our “For the One Partnership.” We all remember the story of the shepherd who left his flock of sheep to search for the missing lamb. That little lamb was valuable and worth the sacrifice. At CWJC Lindale, we value each student, no matter their background or history. We desire that each one “be the one” that the Great Shepherd searched for and was found. To do that, we must have the resources necessary to sustain the ministry. “For the One” is a giving program made up of businesses, individuals, churches and ministries who pledge to give $100 per month to CWJC to cover operating costs. But first, we want to be available to churches as a resource to send people who may need our services: someone in need of a job or job skills, someone in need of fellowship or community, someone in need of a mentor or for discipleship. Secondly, we are looking for volunteers and their talents: individuals who would like to invest in another as a personal mentor; to provide one meal per semester for our students and staff; those who have special skills for our Heart & Hand Marketplace.
