Apostello Missions: Mexico Trip Update

Update from Ryan and the team in Mexico:

We are building support beams for the church that needs it, building a wall for a community member and working on a hole for a septic system for them. Also I wanted to share a personal testimony from our first day here.

We went out on Tuesday to deliver food food and pray for community members. At one house an older gentleman sharred a story about his stomach hurting and so bad he needed to go to the hospital. After a lot of xrays and tests they found out it was a prostate issue and prescribed him medicine. It was about 80 dollars worth and this family doesn't even have electricity. My first thought was to give us the prescription and we can go get for you. This is why God sent us. But God had a different idea. We all gathered to pray for this man. And i reached out to put my hand on this man and began to ask God for healing. As soon as Barri (the missionary started praying) i felt the Spirit rush through my body and out my hand into this man. The verbal prayers around me that started in Spanish turned to English and the Spirit filled the man and the area. Afterwards the man said he felt zero pain.

I know we serve a God who still performs miracles but i never been personally involved in one. I asked our fellow members later if the prayer was in English. They said no. The Spirit filled me fully and let me be witness to His work in healing this mans issues. People always said i would leave more affected then those we came to serve. And they were right. GOD is working amazing things here and i am so happy LifeSource is a part of this work.
